A round of thanks to some special people

::Giggles softly:: It's been quite a while since this happened in a RP scenario, but I still have the pic! And I think Usa and Rena still have the chopped hair as trophies.

First mention goes here to all the members of "the group". Here's to you all: Usa, Rena (Keely), Haru, Manda, Zan... I still think fondly of you all and I'm glad I got to know a great group of people like you. Thanks for making the start of my online experiences a good thing indeed. Good luck to you all!

Thanks, Callie, for your friendship and your role in my OL history. You were the one that got me interested in learning HTML and setting up a site, and it was your site that lead to Corvus and I meeting. You will always be special to me for being the first OL friend I ever had. Keep up the work on your site; it's changed so much over time, mostly for the better, but there are things that need some work.

Heh, I still gotta show off the birthday card Callie made me. Isn't it kawaii?

Corvus, I have to keep thanking you for all the wonderful contributions you've made over this time: the suggestions for the Elemental Guards' uniforms, the many buttons that are used as links for the Tower, you adopting Kyanite, Charoite, Iolite and Spessartine, along with the conception and adoption of Labradorite and the Dream Warriors, the many RPs that we've done to help flesh out the world of the Gemlords. Honestly, you've been the one person I could count on all this time and you've been a great friend. I couldn't've made it quite as well without you there.

But if there's been one person that's really seen me through the rough spots, it's been you, Krissy. You've been a great support when things have gotten really bad, and you and your characters, and the RP that we do to further define the universe of the Gemlords, have been there to keep me from thinking that I'm just no good at all. Garnet, Indicolite, Cinnabar, Cassiterite, Aventurine, Ametrine, Turquoise, Jet, Amazonite, and Schorl have stepped in and come alive, giving a richer feel to the world the Gemlords inhabit, and the Senshi--Draco, Janus, Dione, Titan and Rhea--have only added to the overall effect. Thank you so much for your creativity, your desire to come "play in my sandbox", and your contributions to my world. You've had quite an influence, all for the better. And I have to be thankful again for your interest in graphics and playing with pictures. The Tower's never looked better, and I appreciate all you've done for me.

Thanks so much, Krissy, for the card I requested, inspired by the card below! I'm thankful for many things, but my great friends--like Krissy, Corv and the old gang--are at the top of the list. Without you, I'm sure my life would be a very bleak place indeed.

Krissy's also responsible for my new interests in both the anime "Revolutionary Girl Utena" and the White Wolf Game "Vampire: the Masquerade". In both cases, my writing urge didn't leave me alone, and in both cases, Krissy's been there as a co-author. If you're interested in seeing what else I've written (in cahoots with Krissy) and drawn, then you can check out either what I have of the fictional world of the Rose Kingdom (The Duellists of the Rose) or what I have of the World of Darkness (A Character's Chronicle: Zoey's Story), where nightmares can be very real.

And thanks everyone who's come to the Tower and taken a look around. You all are second on my list of what I'm thankful for, because it has been very nice indeed to know that there are people out there that stop by and take a look at my writing and my drawings. Granted, I'm really doing this just for fun, but it is nice to show them off. I'm glad you took the time to stop by and see (maybe even read!) what's here. If you're so inclined, please drop me a line (obsidian44@aol.com) and let me know what you thought. I do like to hear about how good or bad my writing is. Or leave me a message in my guestbook; I look at it every day to see what people have to say, usually write back to those that do leave a message there and will often go look at a website of a signee. I'm just as interested in what you've put on the web or have drawn or have written as you may have been in coming here.
